The only complaint I have is that the portions are huge!! This isn't a complaint at all, though, because it's at least lunch the next day and possibly dinner too, haha!! Honestly, my husband and I love their food. Takeout is fast and fresh and dining in great, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. When we went, they had a margarita special and yummo. Definitely get one! We got 2 appetizers and 2 meals, he had a Jarrito's(?) soda and I got 2 margs and the total was under 60 and we left with 3 takeout containers full that were lunch for both, plus another meal for me, just from our orders at dinner.
Stopped by for a quick lunch. They are relatively new so they are getting the kinks out. Meals start with chips and salsa. They fry their own chips which is great. My only complaint was that the chips tasted like they were cooked in oil that should have been changed sooner. The rest of the food was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely will be back. Just to update: we stopped again for lunch and the chips and salsa were delicious! We both had the La Palma burritos. My bride had hers with steak and I had mine with Al pastor. They were absolutely delicious! Also, I had a chili relenos which is available individually for 3.50. It was a seared poblano pepper stuffed with cheese and topped with an enchilada style sauce. It was also delicious! Many times chili relenos are battered and deep fried. This was not but still tasted excellent! Very reasonably priced and great tasting authentic food. Highly recommended!
We went for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere was nice. I got the chicken Quesadilla de Pollo and my husband got the Beef Enchilada de Pollo. We got the beef Nachos for an appetizer. The food was amazing. We had to bring the nachos home because the servings are huge! Our Server Valentina(I hope I spelled that right) was awesome. She was friendly, attentive and very sweet. The price we paid was far below what we had expected for the amount of food we got. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. If you like Mexican food, this is the place to go!
Nice little Mexican restaurant less than 1/4 mile off the 90. Perfect location as I was making my way from Albany to Buffalo and needed to stop to grab food. I got the "Super Burrito" and boy was it big! Came out hot and fresh with plenty of toppings and flavor. You also get a complimentary bowl of fresh tortilla chips and salsa while you wait for your food. Everything was delicious and came out quick! Price was also very reasonable for the portion offered. Definitely beats any rest stop along the highway!
The food was exceptional. After 25 years in Southern CA where Taquerias ruled, I found a Mexican restaurant that can compete against them. The service was friendly and warm. The atmosphere is charming! Everything was so very fresh.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere although not Mexican themed was wonderful and historic looking. My only complaint would be the staff seemed bored and made a rather exciting new find seem mundane.
A great find . Very welcoming and friendly staff who made us feel at ease ; nothing was too much of a problem . Provided nibbles were some excellent tacos , very crisp and served warm with a wide selection of chilli sauces to dip . The mains were all of a high standard , well presented and tasty , my Carne Rancherez was a delight . I'd highly recommend giving this place a go . If I pass here again , I'll definitely be calling in again !
Seated quickly. Valentina my server was very friendly and informative. Service was fast and efficient. Chips and salsa were just average not bad but nothing exciting either. I Ordered 2 steak TACOS. They were large soft corn tortillas overstuffed with meat cheese lettuce pico and onions. They were extremely flavorful. Different from the street tacos I usually order but still tasty. Down side for me : steak was in strips. I prefer bite size and with a little bark from the grill but other than that they were delicious . I gave it 5 Stars . And I was shocked to see my bill for only 5. Dollars and 50 cents for everything!!! You can't get 1 yummy taco anywhere for 5.50 let alone 2. All around great experience!
